Auburn-Alexander B. Pisinski, 99, of Auburn, died Sunday, January 1st in the Life Care Center of Auburn. His wife, Helen T. (Goblaskas) Pisinski, died in 2002. He leaves three sons, Thomas Pisinski and his wife Margaret of Northborough, Paul C. Pisinski and his wife Janet of Boylston, and Edward G. Pisinski and his wife Nina of Southborough; two daughters, Janice M. Beauregard and her husband Roland and Nancy R. Bouley of Auburn; a sister, Jeanette Meduski of Charlton; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters, Henry, John, Joseph, Victor, and Stephen Pisinski, Lucy Brown, Helen Morawski, and Anne Benton.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Alexander and Valeria (Wardenski) Pisinski and graduated from South High School. Mr. Pisinski was a die maker for Worcester Wire Company for 37 years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Retired Men’s Club of Greendale. He was also a meat cutter for many years at the Union Public Market. For his 50th Wedding Anniversary, he received the Key to the City of Worcester and more recently, this past November he received the Boston Post Cane Award as the oldest person in Auburn.
Mr. Pisinski’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of the Life Care Center of Auburn for the exceptional care they provided.
The funeral is Friday, January 6th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. A visiting period is Friday from 9:00 until 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home. AUBURN-Rhea M. (St. Onge) Hassett, 94, of Auburn died Wednesday, February 1st in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus. Her husband, John E. Hassett, Sr. died in 2000. She leaves two sons, John E. Hassett of Auburn and Mark J. Hassett of Oxford; two daughters, Suzanne Hassett of Washington, D.C. and Paula K. Hassett of Greenfield; a sister, Hedwig Santo of Alpharetta, GA; three grandchildren, Heather, Mark and Lindsay. A brother, Alfred “Bob” St. Onge predeceased her.
Rhea was born in Worcester and was the daughter of Alfred and Celestine (Dube) St. Onge. She worked at Guaranty Bank in the mortgage department for many years. Mrs. Hassett was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and it’s League of Catholic Women. She was a Cub Scout den mother and was on the Auburn Fourth of July committee. During World War II, Rhea volunteered with the American Red Cross.

WORCESTER: Joseph P. Webster, 19, of Brattle St., formerly of Auburn, passed into the loving arms of his Lord on Tuesday, April 3, 2012.
He leaves his parents, Paul R. and Amalia (Sarli) Webster; his two brothers, Anthony P. Webster of Boston and Nicholas A. Webster of Worcester; his maternal grandmother, Assunta (Manzi) Sarli of Auburn; many aunts, uncles, cousins and his girlfriend Kelsey. He was born in Worcester, a grandson of the late Giambattista Sarli. He lived in Auburn for 12 years and attended Auburn High School before moving back to Worcester last year.
Joe most recently worked as a Jewelry Repair Associate at Instant Jewelry Repair in Auburn. He previously worked as an Usher at the Blackstone Valley Movie Theatre. He was looking forward to starting a new job at his uncle’s bakery in West Boylston.
He enjoyed life and cherished every moment with his family and girlfriend Kelsey. Music was his passion. He liked spending time writing and recording his own music. He also enjoyed his time at the Greendale YMCA gym, playing basketball, going to the beach, working on his car and boat trips to Star Island in Newburyport. He was a former member of St. Joseph’s Church in Auburn and an active supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
There are No Calling Hours. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10 A.M. on THURSDAY, APRIL 12 at ST. GEORGE’S CHURCH, 38 Brattle St. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, MA.

He leaves his family at the Auburn residence.
He was born in North Dighton, the son of Armand and Louise (McCarron) Gamelin. He lived in Monson and then in Webster for 10 years before moving to Auburn. He attended the United Church of Christ, Federated, in Webster.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20 at 10:00 AM in the United Church of Christ, Federated, 4 Church St., Webster. Auburn – James St. George, 58, of Auburn, peacefully died on Friday, April 27th in his home.

Mr. St. George is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda (Gotautas) St. George of Auburn; a son, Brian St. George and his companion Gina Zaccardi of Holden; a sister, Debra St. George of Worcester and close friend Judith Dennett of Webster.

Jim was born in Worcester, son of Phillip and Mabel (Houde) St. George. He was the owner and operator of SGD Home Remodeling for many years until he retired due to illness.

Mr. St. George was an active member of the Auburn Sportsman Club and shooting range Chairman, winning many trophies and ribbons. Jim enjoyed working with tools, boating, RC model building and was a naval history buff.

Jim was a country music fan and was known for his hats and boots.

Private funeral services will be held with burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 20 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.

AUBURN-Joanne M. (Hoey) Largesse, 77, of Auburn, died Sunday, May 20th in St. Vincent Hospital. She leaves her son, Daniel E. Largesse of Auburn; two daughters, Marybeth Largesse-Ortiz and Joanne M. Largesse-Simoncini both of Worcester; her brother, William J. Hoey, Jr. of Marshfield, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Her children’s father, Gerald L. Largesse, Sr. and her brother Paul F. Hoey predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of William J. and Mary E. (Delores) Hoey. Mrs. Largesse was a graduate of Ascension High School; and had been employed as an operator for New England Telephone; and a member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Auburn.

Her graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 23rd in St. John’s Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. There are no calling hours. Kenneth F. Sheehan, 73, of Worcester, died unexpectedly at UMass Memorial Medical Center- University Campus on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 after becoming ill at home.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, Carol A. (Watson) Sheehan; a son, Terence P. Sheehan and his fiancée Heidi of Lake City FL; 4 daughters, Erin M. VanEpps of Southington, CT, Tara A. Holmes and her husband Christopher of Auburn, Kelli L. Pierangeli and her husband Robert of Douglas, Kerri A. Sheehan of Worcester; a sister, Barbara E. Murphy of Worcester; 4 grandchildren, Mikaela, Rylee, Garrett and Maeve; 3 step-grandchildren, Christina, Christopher Jr. and Brooke; and many nieces and nephews. Three sisters, Mary Ghiatis, Ann M. Deignan, his twin, Kathleen A. “Katy” Esteves, and a brother, George Sheehan, all predeceased him. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late George E. and Mary A. (Powers) Sheehan. He graduated from Commerce High School and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Ken worked 25 years for New England Telephone until he retired. He had also worked 10 years as a part-time Police Officer for the Town of West Boylston. He later worked as a driver for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed New England sports teams, his beloved dogs and spending time with his family.

Grace M. Cooney, 87, of Auburn, passed away peacefully Friday, June 29th, in her home. She leaves a brother, John J. Cooney of Auburn. She was a loving aunt to 22 nieces and nephews and 32 grand nieces and nephew, whom she adored. She was predeceased by four brothers, William, George, Edward, and James Cooney, and three sisters, Mary Cooney, Gertrude Collins, and Dorothy Cooney.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of George A. and Gertrude P. (Doyle) Cooney and was a 1943 graduate of St. Peter’s High School and also attended the former Ward School of Airline Training. Miss Cooney worked for Northeast and Delta Airlines, before retiring in 1983. She was a member of North American Martyrs Church, the Delta Retirees, and the Auburn Senior Center.

AUBURN – Philip J. Ginkus, 72, of 7 Mount View Ave., died Saturday evening at the VA Medical Center in the West Roxbury section of Boston, after a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 4 years, Daiva Burba Ginkus; 3 step-sons, Alan, Karl, and Gustav Burba, all of Auburn. He also leaves his extended family including many cousins and a nephew. His brother, Richard Ginkus and his step-father John Spirauskas, both predeceased him. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late Alphonse and Frances A. (Pupkar) Ginkus, graduated from Worcester’s South High School and also attended Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War serving as a radio operator aboard the USS Boston.
Philip worked as a drafting engineer at several area companies. He was recognized in a national art magazine for his work on a mural he designed and painted for a garden in the town of Lexington. He was a member of St. John’s Church and a former member of St. Casmir’s Church, both in Worcester. He enjoyed O Scale model trains and was a member of the Southern New England Model Railroad Club based in Gardner, MA. He also enjoyed traveling, photography and watching his beloved Red Sox when regularly attending games at Fenway Park.

Auburn – Mr. Richard P. “Rick” Grimaldo, 48, formerly of Worcester passed away unexpectedly Wednesday November 28th. Rick is survived by his parents William and Rita (Stodolski) Grimaldo of Worcester; a brother, William F. Grimaldo and his wife Kim of Northborough; a sister, Donna M. Jordan and her husband George of Worcester; and many cousins whom he regarded as his brothers and sisters. Rick was born in Worcester, Massachusetts December 31, 1963. He was a graduate of St Mary’s High School, class of 1981. He also attended Quinsigamond Community College. He worked at Future Electronics in Northborough for a period of time but worked for Better Electric for over twenty years. Rick was a member of the Singletary Rod and Gun Club in Oxford and was also a antique car and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a loving son and brother who enjoyed fishing and music. Most of all he enjoyed his family and would do anything for them. His Funeral Mass will be held Saturday December 1st at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 11:00 am. She worked at Ramshorn in Charlton taking care of the physically and mentally handicapped. She was awarded by the state for her professionalism and compassion. William R. Forsberg, 91, died Sunday, January 20, 2013. His wife of 61 years, Ethel C. (Jacques) Forsberg, died in 2008. He leaves two children, Thomas A. Forsberg and his wife Robin of Auburn and Steven J. Forsberg and his wife Lynda of West Boylston. He was predeceased by his son William R. Forsberg, Jr. He also leaves seven grandchildren: Tim and his wife Christina, Lisa, Tammy, Jen, Jon, Davin, and Robbie; one great-granddaughter, Alexis; and several nieces and nephews. His brother, Jack Forsberg, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Elvira (Berglund) and Bertil Forsberg. He was a graduate of North High School (1939) and Wentworth Institute in Boston (1941). He was a coxswain with the U.S. Navy Seabees during WWII and served in the Aleutian Islands and Okinawa. He lived his adult life in West Boylston where he was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He retired from Sears Roebuck Co. in Auburn in 1986 where he worked in sales and management for 37 years. He belonged to SAC Park in Shrewsbury, Greendale Retired Men’s Club, DeMolay, and Nordic Lodge #611. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, swimming, gardening, and reading. Bill’s family extends heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at Memorial Hospital’s Critical Care Unit and the Jewish Healthcare Center for the care they provided. Services will be held in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, Thursday, January 24. Calling hours will be held at 10 a.m., followed immediately by the service at 12 noon. Alice is the daughter of the late Frank and Eugenie (Morin) Premo and was married to Raymond Bousquet who died in 1993 and is survived by Lorraine Richard of Worcester and many nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by two brothers, Albert and Louis Primeau and two sisters, Eva Sullivan and Beatrice Jouzaitis. Mrs. Bousquet owned and operated “Alice’s Beauty Salon” in the Webster Square section of Worcester for many years with her husband. She was a graduate of Becker Business School and belonged to Saint Joseph’s Church in Auburn. Auburn-Florence E. (Marois) Parmenter, 82, of Auburn, died Wednesday, February 20th in her home. Her husband was the late Bertram Parmenter. She leaves a son, Robert M. Lavallee and his wife Debora of Port St. Lucie, FL; two grandchildren, Robert Lavalle, Jr. and Monique M. Lavallee; two longtime friends, Shirley Huntington of Oxford and Virginia Rudy of Greensboro, NC. Another son, Paul Lavallee, died in 2009. She was born in Webster, the daughter of Stanislaw and Elnora (Baker) Marois and lived in Auburn for many years. Mrs. Parmenter enjoyed traveling and going to the casino. She attended BINGO often at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and the Seven Hills Foundation, both in Worcester. A calling hour is from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Thursday, February 28th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. A service will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Auburn – Dorothy (Connor) Wambach, 81, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Autumn Village surrounded by her family. Her husband, Larry Wambach, Sr., died in 1993. She leaves four daughters, Carol Evans with whom she resided along with her great-grandson Joseph and his mother Mary Lauria, Ann Dreyer, Denyse Moran and her husband Hugh, and Kim Ceccarini all of Worcester; two sons, James Wambach and his wife Robin and Larry Wambach, Jr., and his wife Kathy both of Worcester and a daughter-in-law, Deborah of Huachuca, AZ. She also leaves 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Irene Sullivan, Gladys Gervais, and Jean Gagnon; 1 brother, David Connor and his wife Kathy; two sisters-in-law, Roberta Connor and Claire Connor; one brother-in-law, David Wambach and his wife Pauline. She was predeceased by two sons, Sgt. First Class Steven Wambach, Sr., and Daniel Wambach; four brothers, John, William, Robert, and Harold Connor. Dorothy grew up in Worcester, daughter of Francis L. and Gladys (Turner) Connor. She devoted her time to being a mother, nana, and great-grandmother. Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester between 5 and 7 pm on Thursday, May 16. The funeral service will be held at Nordgren’s at 12:30 pm on Friday, May 17. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Flowers may be sent.
